General theoretical reminders of the functioning of the brain and the types of intelligences Contribution of neurosciences and the biology of learning a foreign language
Basic principles of The Shortcut Method and the 4 fundamental pillars guaranteeing the efficiency of the method.
14h00 - 17h30
Theoretical presentation of the 10 steps of The Shortcut Method
Exercises and practice of steps 1 to 5
Self-assessment tools to measure progress and know how to decide the right pace of learning.
Pitfalls to avoid before and during learning: pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, various tools available.
Day 2

Preparation of the boat and the equipment to have on board before leaving.
Management of shifts and the human on board during the intensive learning period.
Exercises and practice of steps 6 to 10.
14h00 - 17h30
Semantic analysis of texts useful for learning.
Complete development of tailor-made teaching materials (media and equipment).
Specificity of the languages targeted by the sailors attending the training.
Understand and optimize its natural predispositions and exercises to develop its weak points (according to the types of intelligence in particular).

- "a foreign language during a transat"" - level 2 to better understand how to help children learn languages according to their specificities.
